Held at Clementi Stadium on 13 March 2026, Fairsians gathered enthusiastically in the stands, spirits running high under the clear morning skies. With limbs stretched and shoelaces tightened, everyone eagerly anticipated the long-awaited Sports Day. The excitement only grew when Mr Wee, the principal, signalled the start of the event with a blast from the air horn. As the sound echoed across the stadium, cheers erupted from the crowd, marking the beginning of a fast-paced and memorable day.
The Secondary Ones and Twos took part in the class track challenge, where classes competed to complete the most rounds within five minutes. The moment the air horn sounded, students sprinted off with determination and energy. Although fatigue began to set in after the first few rounds, many continued to push themselves forward, driven by resilience and the encouragement of their classmates.

Beyond the track events, the Secondary Ones and Twos also participated in a variety of fringe activities. From kicking chaptehs to completing burpees, every activity contributed points towards their class score. Whether through athletic performance or enthusiastic participation, students worked together to support one another, embodying the true Fairfield spirit of camaraderie and perseverance.
Meanwhile, the Secondary Threes competed in an exhilarating game of Captain’s Rugby. Passes flew swiftly across the field as players fought intensely for every point, determined to secure victory for their class. Excitement filled the stadium as spectators cheered passionately from the stands, celebrating every successful play. Even for classes that did not emerge victorious, the students remained optimistic, displaying sportsmanship and a willingness to learn from the experience.
For the Secondary Fours, their final Sports Day in Fairfield was commemorated through a thrilling game of Ultimate Frisbee. The cohort entered the games with enthusiasm and determination. Every point was fiercely contested as students demonstrated both tenacity and teamwork on the field. Amidst the intense competition, the Secondary Fours continued to display admirable sportsmanship, while classmates from the sidelines cheered wholeheartedly in support. Win or lose, the cohort played selflessly and passionately, making their final Sports Day in Fairfield one to remember.
As the cheers and excitement of Sports Day gradually faded, students left the stadium carrying with them more than just the results of the games. Beyond the victories and challenges, the day served as a celebration of resilience, unity, and the enduring bonds shared among Fairsians. Though Sports Day eventually came to an end, the camaraderie forged throughout the event would remain long after the final whistle.
