Multi-ethinic Celebrations
On the 20th January, Fairfield students and teachers gathered together to celebrate the Lunar New Year with a Multi Ethnic Celebration. We started the festivities with Music, dance and lots of energy and enthusiasm.

Excellence of Execution for Fairfield’s Red Cross Youth..
2011 has been an exciting year for Fairfield Methodist School (Secondary)'s Red Cross Youth, as the cadets continue to scale higher peaks with many notable accomplishments. Our Gold achievement in the Excellence Unit Award (EUA) is highly significant as this is the first time in Fairfield's Red Cross Youth's history that we have won this award. Dramatising Our Way to Another Gold With Honours..
Over the years, Fairfield Drama has put up many successful performances ranging from classics such as "Hamlet" to modern plays such as "GOLD" at the Esplanade. Library Redefined..
After months of renovation, the school library finally opened its doors to all the students in March 2011. The new 21st Century Competencies Hub @ Fairfield will boast a number of new facilities, resources and services which will enhance our school's learning environment and enrich our students' experience. Students who visited the revamped Hub were impressed by the makeover that the old library had gone through. Gone are the dated appearance and old furniture and in its place, a modern and colourful space with interesting little corners......

Volleyballing its Way to Glory..
Looking for an adrenaline rush? Volleyball is definitely a sport that you should try! It is played by two teams of six people each. To start off the game, the first player needs to serve the ball across the top of the net into any part of the opponents' court. A maximum of three hits per team is permitted before returning the ball to the opponent's court. The main aim of the game is to return the ball to the opponent's court without allowing the ball to touch the ground. Teamwork and good hand-eye coordination are certainly required to excel in this exciting sport......

Squashing Our Way to Success..
The FMS(S) ‘B' and ‘C' division Squash teams, consisting of five main players and two reserves, beat top-seeded schools, St Joseph's Institution and Anglo Chinese School (Independent), at the National Inter-School Squash Championships this year, winning the unprecedented titles of Runners-Up and National Champions respectively.
